~WW1 German FeldKanone 96 Shell Casing~

The 7.7 cm Feldkanone 96 Neuer Art (7.7 cm FK 96 n.A.) was a field gun used by Germany in World War I. The FK 96 was introduced in 1905 and continued to see service with the Baltic nations until the 1930s. This particular shell casing was manufactured by PatronenFabrik Karlsruhe in 1909.

The casing is 11 inches long and 3.6 inches wide.
