Produced by the renowned Sanderson Brothers, this bayonet was a standard issue for the British military during World War I and beyond. It features a 43cm blade with a deep fuller and a single-edge, making it a versatile and lethal weapon. Its overall length is approximately 55cm (58cm in scabbard). The ricasso bears the Sanderson maker's mark and a broad arrow acceptance stamp along with 1916 issue date and other proof marks. It is complete with original scabbard.
~Condition~
This bayonet is in great condition with the expected patina of a weapon from WW1. Most markings are very clear and the blade fits very snugly in the scabbard. Please see pictures for more detail.
