~WW1 British 13 Pounder Shell~

The Ordnance QF 13-pounder field gun was the standard equipment of the British and Canadian Royal Horse Artillery at the outbreak of World War I. The gun could fire a variety of shells including High Explosive, Shrapnel, and Smoke. The shell casing was made in 1916. It can be easily disassembled into its component parts. The projectile bears the serial number 9714 as well as other markings.

The shell is 21 inches long and 4 inches wide.

*Condition*

The shell is in excellent condition with only some minor patina.
