Original Baxter Prints of Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie 1854

These are original Baxter prints of Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie of France. They are dated 1854 and were made by George Baxter, the inventor of commercially viable colour printing. The prints come as a pair and depict Napoleon III in full Military clothes and the Empress in an elaborate dress. Each print has its seal with the engravings of the name of the print and George Baxter’s name.
