~ WW1 75mm Trench Art Ypres Shell Case Pair ~

From top to bottom, both shells bear the words 'Glorie Aux Allies' under the allied flags in a laurel wreath, then an image of the building Ypres Les Halles, then a field gun. Under the top crenalated shell burst rim are multiple etched images of the Ypres crest. The French shell cases are of 75 mm calibre and are dated for 1907 and 1908.

~ Condition ~

They are in good order but would benefit from a polish.

The shell cases are 35 cm (14 inches) tall.
