A charming earthenware figurine of a cat by the Norfolk based potter Jenny Winstanley.

Winstanley was producing these hand-made cats and kittens (and sometimes hares) from the 1950’s through to 2004.

This figurine is hand-painted in a mottled dark brown, orange and white and features beautiful glass eyes.

It is signed to the base.

The figurine has a height 17.5cm (7 inches) and a length of 16cm (6 ¼ inches).

 It weighs 520g

The piece is in lovely condition with no damage.
