~ Wilkinson Swords 1822 Pattern Light Cavalry Sabre And Leather Field Scabbard ~

The sword is a finely and well balanced piece with a sweetly etched blade. It bears the former owners initials of P.D. and "Service Corps".

The ricasso is etched "By Royal Warrant, Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London" with a proof star on the other side.

The spine has a serial number of 16089 and 'London Made'.

It comes with it's brown leather field scabbard.

~ Condition ~

The blade is very clean with clear etching, just a few dark patches.  The guard is solid with a tightly bound grip. The scabbard is solid with some scuffing.

~ Dimensions ~

The sabre is 103 cm (40.5 inches) long with a 87 cm (34.25 inch) blade.
