This barn owl is a nice example of Victorian taxidermy.

The owl is mounted on a natural base and housed in a glass dome.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece measures 41cm (16 inches) in height.

It weighs 1.74 Kg.

~ Condition ~

The glass dome is ever so slightly too small for the owl so his face  is pressed up against the glass causing a little ruffling to the feathers.

There is a little patch of wear to the back of the head.

 The owl is otherwise in a very nice condition with no damages.

The glass some and base are in good order with no damages.
