The piece is of stained oak with gilt metal fittings and banded agate cabochon fittings. The ends fold up and down and expand outwards too.

Please refer to the images for the condition. There are several chips to the wood and the gilt is quite tarnished.

The piece is 38 cm (15 inches) wide when compacted, 15 cm (6 inches) deep and 19 cm (7.25 inches) tall.
