~ Victorian/Edwardian Bronze Miniature Signalling Cannon On Truck ~
A lovely, small signalling cannon, with a bronze three stage barrel, clear touch hole and bore. It dates from around 1850 to 1910.
The cannons trunnions, held in place by brass clasps, rest on a black painted oak carriage.
~ Condition ~
The barrel has numerous dings to it, so has had an obvious active career.
The carriage is solid and in good order.
~ Dimensions ~
The barrel has an overall length of 17.5 cm (6.75 inches). On the carriage, the overall length is 19 cm (7.5 inches). The total weight is 0.705 Kg.
