This desirable dirk has a white shagreen grip and standard fittings with the gilt brass lion head pommel.

It comes with its scabbard which has both suspension rings and an applied retailers plaque reading "F. Highatt Outfitter Gosport".

~ Dimensions ~

The dirk is 22.75 inches (58cm) long with a 17.5 inch (44.5cm) blade. In its scabbard it is 23 inches (58.5cm) long. It weighs 675g.

~ Condition ~

The guard has a dent and the catch, whilst working, has some play.

The shagreen is in good order, the wire binding a little stretch in one area.

The etchings on the blade are quite worn and there are several nicks to the edge, one quite deep as well as pitting.

The scabbard is in good order, tight stitching with very minor dings to the fitting.
