This is a large Bhojpur Kukri, Nepal's national knife, known for its large curved, thick blade, measuring 46cm in total length, with a 7cm width and 7mm spine. The flat blade is decorated on both sides. It has a distinctive Cho (notch), engraved wooden grip without visible tang or rivets, and a flared pommel.
The accompanying scabbard (dap), is made of Wood with decorative elements and a woven leather band at the neck and another narrow band in the middle, it has a brass tip. It includes two utility knives called "Karda."
*Condition*
This Kukri is in excellent used condition. There is some splitting to the wood of the scabbard but the leather decorative elements hold the scabbard together very securely. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
