The lockplate is of a very good quality suggesting that this was an officer’s piece.

The trigger guard and the buttplate are made of brass.

Most of the wooden frame is assembled together with wooden pegs.

The ramrod is original as well, its brass tip being attached to its wooden rod with a brass nail.

The piece is .67 calibre.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in fair condition for its age.

The wooden grip cracked at one point in time and it has a repair done to it.
