Approx: 4.5"/11.5cm overall. Barrel: 1.75" - 4.5cm

This tiny revolver is marked with the serial number 64 on the folding trigger, under the barrel, on the front of the cylinder, and on the hammer. Small caliber with center percussion, with open frame, fixed drum and single and double action mechanics. Folding trigger which would make it easier to fit into a pocket.

Casimir Lefaucheux patented the pinfire cartridge in 1835 and son Eugene designed the pistol. The pinfire cartridge was one of the first successful self-contained cartridges in history, and the pistol saw prolific use in Europe during the 19th century, even being adopted by some militaries and police.

*Condition*
This is in used condition and it cocks and fires but the cylinder does not move with fired. No rod. It has some pitting and shows age related wear. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
