This weapon was used by Switzerland from 1889 to 1953. The gun was chambered in the 7.5x55mm Swiss cartridge which is now an obsolete calibre. The rifle features a straight-pull bolt action mechanism for fast cycling and an adjustable ladder sight. The rifle has multiple matching number components including the magazine.
This rifle used an obsolete calibre round and can therefore be cocked and dry-fired.
