~ Small Sterling Silver Tazza Sheffield 1936 ~
A lovely small tazza dish of sterling silver dating to 1936.
The tazza is typical having a wide, shallow dish which sits atop a short stem with a wide based foot.
The dish part has pierced decoration around the circumference.
The stem and foot are of plain silver.
The piece is hallmarked for Sheffield silver, 1936 with a makers mark of 'EV' for Viner's Ltd (Emile Viner).
~ Dimensions ~
The dish has a diameter of 15.5cm (6 inches) and a height of 6cm (2 ¼ inches).
It weighs 150g.
~ Condition ~
The dish has a few minor scratches to the centre and a tiny ding. The foot has a little compaction to one side.
Overall the piece is in a very nice condition with no major damage.
