This Clinometer was made by Eiwa Seiki Co Ltd - Japan Osaka - 20th century

Ships Clinometers are used to define the degree of list of the ship especially useful when you are below decks with no site of the horizon.

This one looks to have come from the mechanical control cabin but we are not sure from which ship.

In very good condition having been varnished and kept clean with easily legible numbers.
