~ Set of 9 Sterling Silver Christmas Pudding Charms on Original Card c1950s ~
An original circa 1950s (possibly a little earlier) set of unused sterling silver 'Christmas Pudding Charms' in original packaging.
The charms include: pig, cat, nut, button, thimble, bridal pair, horseshoe, teddy bear and wishbone.
The charms would have been added to the batter of Christmas puddings. Each charm had a special meaning and were used to suggest the fortune of the recipient for the coming year.
~ Dimensions ~
Each charm measures approximately 1cm in width/length.
The card measures 9cm (3 ½ inches) by 11.5cm (4 ½ inches).
It weighs approx 5g
~ Condition ~
There is a ding to the bell charm. Aside from needing a clean/polish, the charms are otherwise in great condition.
The card has some creases and small tears but is complete.
