~ Scratch Built Model of 1813 Schooner HMS Mosquidobit ~
A nice quality vintage scale model of the schooner HMS Mosquidobit (1813).
The model was hand-built from scratch between 1978-1981 by Anthony J. Armstrong and is well constructed with lots of nice detail.
It comes on a wood stand with information plaque.
~ HMS Mosquidobit ~
HMS Mosquidobit was the Chesapeake-built six-gun schooner Lynx that the British Royal Navy captured and took into service in 1813. She was sold into commercial service in 1820 and nothing is known of her subsequent fate.
~ Dimensions ~
The ship has a length of 79cm (31 inches) and a height on stand of 61cm (24 inches).
It weighs 1.36 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The model is in great condition with no damage.
~ Postage ~
Due to the size and nature of the item, pick up in person from our shop in Portsmouth, UK is required.
Alternatively we can pass the model on to Mailboxes Etc., Portsmouth and they can pack and send at your own cost and liability.
