The pressed tin badge was recovered from a site in Sevastopol as per the Crimean war.

The badge is shaped an exploding grenade.

We have been advised that it is possibly from an 1812 pattern shako.

~ Dimensions ~

The badge width is 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) and its depth is 3.8 inches (9.5 cm).

It weighs 55 grams.

~ Condition ~

The front of the badge is in fair condition for its age with a deep patina.

Its three lugs are missing as seen in the pictures.
