~ Russian 2 Day Chronometer U.M. Kupoba Ships Clock ~
This is a fine marine chronometer by U.M. Kupoba of Russia.
It is presented in a mahogany case with a bevelled glass window to the top and brass fittings.
The chronometer is mounted in brass, on brass gimbals.
The brushed silver dial has a minute ring around the circumference. The hands are gold in colour.
The dial has a seconds dial with a blued steel sweeping hand and a state of wind dial also with a blued steel hand
It is complete with the original key and outer key.

The outer box has a width of 13 inches (33 cm), a depth of 10.5 inches (26.7 cm) & a height of 9.5 inches (24 cm).
The chronometer box has a width of 7.5 inches (19 cm), a depth of 7.5 inches (19 cm) & a height of 6 3/4 inches (17.2 cm).
The chronometer has a diameter of 4.3/4 inches (12 cm).
The set weighs 7.97 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The chronometer box is in very nice condition. The display box is a little worn, with a few scratches and bits of scuffing. The padding inside the box is also in good condition. The clock is in good working order.
