~ Royal Doulton Stoneware Jardiniere Circa 1910 ~
A lovely Royal Doulton Stoneware jardinière dating to c1910.
It is of bulbous form with sharp stylized floral decoration on a blue and cream ground.
The rim and base are of a deep blue.
The inner rim also has scrolling decoration.
It has the ‘Royal Doulton, England’ stamp in blue to the base as well as a hand painted mark of ‘D3893’.
~ Dimensions ~
The item has a diameter of 11 inches (28cm), an opening of 8 ¼ inches (21cm) and a height of 8 ½ inches (21.5cm). It weighs 2.990Kg.
~ Condition ~
There is some crazing to the glaze in parts, a few hairline cracks inside the rim and another to the base but overall the item is in nice condition.
