~ Pre-Boer War Webley Mark II Service Revolver with Holster, Ammo Pouch & .450 Ammo ~

Mk II: Similar to the Mk I, with modifications to the hammer and grip shape, as well as a hardened steel shield for the blast-shield. Officially adopted 21 May 1895, with a 4-inch (100 mm) barrel.

A very well-marked Webley Mark II, serial numbered 57699 next to the trigger guard.
Below the cylinder, on the left side, is the manufacture stamp "Webley Mark II Patents".
Above the cylinder, on the left side, is an inspector's mark and a broad arrow service mark.

The same marks can be found on the cylinder, there is another proof mark on the left side of the trigger guard.

On the grip below the hammer are a variety of regimental marks.
There are deactivation stamps throughout.
The holster and ammo pouch are made from leather.
The holster has straps for a belt and a leather flap to secure the revolver within. There is a pocket for the cleaning rod, which has slightly oxidized but has since been cleaned leaving speckled marks.

The ammo pouch also has straps for a belt and a leather flap to secure the ammo within.
The ammo is Kynoch .450 bullets.

~ Condition ~

The extractor works and the action cycles.
The revolver is in excellent condition as seen in the pictures.
