Unique horn from a naval mine, known as a Hertz horn, a 'spark plug' shaped brass and steel object. Contact with the horn would break a container of sulphuric acid, which would consequently energise a battery and explode the mine.
*Condition*
The condition is a reflection of its working life. Some surface pitting in some areas due to water contact. Lots of various little scrapes and marks that add to its character and story. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
