An exceptional piece with matching serial numbers R40151 and clear inspectors marks.

The factory mark "Impériale de Chatellerault Arsenal" and the manufacturing date "Mai 1874" are etched on the spine of the piece.

A Naval anchor can be found on the inside of the guard, this indicates bayonets used by Colonial troops and the Navy.

~ Condition ~

The piece is exceptional with some age marks on the scabbard, but overall exellent.
