A nice transfer decorated mug commemorating the opening of Preston Town Hall in October 1867.

The barrel shaped mug has overglazed transfer prints of Preston Town Hall with an inscription below to both sides with blue patterned decoration to the upper and lower edges and handle.

~ Dimensions ~

The mug has a diameter of 10cm (4 inches) and a height of 11cm (4 ¼ inches).

It weighs 272g.

~ Condition ~

There is some crazing of the glaze which is to be expected of a piece of this age and some discolouration in parts but is in otherwise very good condition with no chips, cracks or damage.
