~ Poole Pottery Odyssey Vase ~
There is a pattern of blue patches with yellow highlights which has been created using Poole's unique technique called "Living Glaze". The background colour on the outside of the vase is a dark red and the inside is a cobalt blue.
The backstamps are "POOLE POTTERY, ENGLAND" around the rim with an incised dolphin.
~ 'Living Glaze' ~
In this process of 'Living Glaze' the Decorator applies different glazes which react with each other during the firing process, leaving each piece with a unique pattern.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase is 7 inches (18cm) tall with the diameter of 4 inches (10cm).
It weights 668 grams.
~ Condition ~
The condition of the vase is good with no chips or restoration evidence. There is light crazing to the body
