Original WW2 US Paratrooper’s Wrist Compass

This is an original wrist compass as worn by US Paratroopers on D-Day and manufactured by the Superior Magneto Corp. On the back it reads Corps of Engineers U.S. Army, Manufactured by Superior Magneto Corp LI City, N.Y. USA. These compasses would have been worn on the wrist or over the sleeve on the shoulder and would have been crucial for navigation behind enemy lines.

*Condition*

This compass is in great condition. It still works and its original leather strap is strong and intact. Some of the numbers are slightly worn but still visible. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
