Original WW2 German 1st Class Iron Cross by C.F. Zimmermann

This is a genuine 1^st Class Iron Cross award which would have been issued to a member of the German army during World War 2 after having already received a 2^nd class medal and performing 3-5 acts of bravery in the face of the enemy. It comes in its original case and features the Third Reich Swastika and the date 1939 on the front. There is a “20” on the underside of the pin which stands for the maker “C.F Zimmermann”.

*Condition*

This badge and case are in great condition with very minor signs of wear and no damage to the paint. It retains most of its original finish. Please see picture for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
