This is the control stick from a Supermarine Scimitar Naval strike fighter, active from 1963-1964 as part of the 736 squadron. The Scimitar was a single-seat naval strike aircraft designed and produced by the British aircraft manufacturer Supermarine. Operated exclusively by the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm, it was the final aircraft to be entirely designed and manufactured by Supermarine. This control stick comes mounted to a decorative wooden stand with a glass dome cover.
*Condition*
The control stick is in very good condition with minor marks and knocks. It is displayed in an excellent glass dome on a wooden stand. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
