This is a heavy artillery sawback bayonet, used in conjunction with the Martini-Henry Rifle. The bayonet is dated 12/83 and has various proof and test marks on the blade including a WD mark. The blade stands at 65.5cm with a 23.5cm saw-back area near the hilt. An excellent collector’s piece from a significant historic time period.

*Condition*

The bayonet has some pitting and darkening to the blade as shown in pictures. The grip and hilt remain strong and undamaged and the button works as it should. Please see pictures for more detail.
