This is a 1907 pattern bayonet made in 1909. This would likely have been used during World War 1 and has a Naval use stamp on the ricasso. This type of bayonet was a British bayonet designed to be used with the Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) rifle. The Pattern 1907 bayonet was used by the British and Commonwealth forces throughout both the First and Second World Wars.

*Condition*

This bayonet is in good condition with a light patina on the blade and some heavy pitting on some parts of the scabbard. There are various light knocks and marks. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
