This cannon (circa 1805) was a typical royal navy deck cannon as used by Nelson’s HMS Victory. This type of cannon would have been used throughout the 18th century and into the 19th century. The cannon barrel is 23cm long and the platform it stands on is 29cm. It features a moving cannon and plate behind the cannon.

*Condition*

One of the clips on the cannon is broken. Other than that, the cannon is in pristine condition. The platform it stands on is in good condition with some with some scratches on the bottom. The second pin has been damaged and does not hold down the rope on one side.
