A nice mid 19th century Indian made cane with concealed sword.

The cane has a light wood shaft with simple carving to either end and is finished with a brass ferrel tip hand-marked with the initials ‘DME’.

The handle is of dark wood with carved bone grip and brass collar. It is topped with brass pommel carved as a lions head.

The brass collar twists to lock the handle in place for security.

The blade is simple with no markings.

~ Dimensions ~

The blade measures 55cm (21 ½ inches).

The stick/cane has a total length of 89cm (35 inches).

It weighs 455g.

~ Condition ~

There is light wear to most parts of the piece including some tiny chips to the shaft but no major damages.

The blade has a slight bend to the tip and has some light surface rust but should be fine with a good clean.
