~ Mid 19th Century French Dragoon Cavalry Helmet ~
The helmet has a brass body with plume and black horse hair man on the crown. A great display piece.
~ Dimensions ~
The helmet measures 23 cm (9.75 inches) in length by 21 cm (8.25 inches) wide by 27 cm (10.25 inches) tall without the plume, 36 cm (14 inches) with. It weighs 1.27 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The skull is in good order, a few minor dings, but that is normal. The fur, plume and mane are decent. The helmet chinscales are detached and some are missing. There is no liner. The ladies face on the crown is bent slightly forward.
