~ London 1895 Silver Topped Crystal Ink Well ~

The heavy crystal glass lid has a silver hinged lid.

The lid is engraved, it is too polished out to be read clearly but the part I can make out is 2nd Prize A. R. G. Williams 1896.

It is hallmarked for London 1895 and was made by John Grinsell & Sons.

~  Condition ~

The glass has a few minor nibbles to the leading edges. The silver lid is in good order and opens and closes tightly.

~ Dimensions ~

The inkwell is 8 cm (3.25 inches) square on the base and it stands 6 cm (2.25 inches) tall.
