A Japanese hand-carved boxwood netsuke from the Edo period (1603 to 1868) of a small dog, possibly a Pug.

The netsuke is beautifully carved with plenty of detail and has the usual two holes to the reverse.

The netsuke has a height of 5cm (approx. 2 inches).

It weighs 30.3g

~ Condition ~

The netsuke is in great overall condition with only a couple of tiny marks to the reverse.
