Inselsberg Steel-Toe WW2 German Jackboot

Second World War German Marching Boots

Out of stock

SKU: JAQJA_636878422 Category:

These are German WW2 Marching boots produced by Inselsberg. The Germans call this boot Marschstiefel, meaning "marching boot".  Jack boots were widely used because worn out boots were considered a major problem for armies on the march, and the high-quality leather "jackboot" with its hobnails was deemed to be more durable.

*Condition*

Overall, the boots are in good condition.  The left boot is slightly discoloured from the right. The leather has no tears or cracks in it but is in need of a good polish. The sole of the boots are slightly weathered but still in good condition. Please see the images for more detail.
