Superb condition First Pattern Wilkinson Fairbairn Sykes Commando Fighting Knife and Scabbard. Probably the most perfect condition First Pattern Fairbairn Sykes commando knife we have seen. Of standard construction, the grip has a chequered texture and the guard is of the characteristic 'S' shape. The ricasso is stamped "Wilkinson Sword Co Ltd. London" to one side and "The F-S Fighting Knife." to the other. The scabbard is of still supple brown leather.

* Condition *

Truly excellent condition. The blade is near mint, clean and retains its full length. The point is still sharp and the edges are free from nicks. Both etchings on the ricasso are very clear. You can still see the vice marks on the pommel from its construction. The scabbard is also in excellent condition with the leather and metal tip still retaining its original finish. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
