~ HMS Tiger (C20) Aluminium Ships Mess Crest ~
This is circle aluminium painted ships plaque and it depicts a menacing tigers face in gold on a black background.
Two holes were drilled after the casting in order to fit it to a wooden board.
It is an original piece from the ship and would have been wall mounted on an internal bulkhead.
~ HMS Tiger ~
HMS Tiger (C20) was a conventional cruiser of the Royal Navy. She was ordered by the Royal Navy in 1941 for WW2 however was only completed after the war. The cruiser was later converted into a helicopter-carrying and guided missile cruiser in the early 70’s.

The badge has a diametre of 7 inches (18.8cm).
Weight approx 0.865Kg.
~ Condition ~
The crest is in fair used condition with some paint chips and age wear.
