This is an unusual handmade Bowie knife complete with scabbard. It has been converted from an army issued Martindale machete and bears the Martindale name and Crocodile Registered stamp, with the numbers 264.0 15" and the British military acceptance marks of a broad arrow. The blade is 267mm long. The handle is decorative bone effect, with a metal guard. The scabbard is leather and decorated with metal studs and bears the initials RE.
