A rare prototype figurine by Goebel in the form of a Chinese god.

The figure, which dates to the 1950’s is in a seated, cross legged position with a basket by his side and a rattle of sorts in his hand.

The figure is cream in colour with brown highlights.

The pattern number ‘985’ is imprinted to the base.
