The print was produced as a limited edition of 850 pieces, this being numbered 83, by Royal Doulton to complement their Admiralty collection of figurines. It used original archive material from the Hydographic Office to research the piece.

This magnificent chart from The Admiralty Collection was originally approved by the Chart Committee of the Admiralty in 1807 as an accurate record of Nelson's pursuit of the combined French and Spanish fleets under Admiral Villeneuve as they sailed for the West Indies in the summer of 1805.

There are cartouches depicting the battle and Admiral Lord Nelson.

To the border are the semaphore flags for "England Expects That Every Man Will Do His Duty".

~ Condition ~

The print and frame are in decent order, with minor wear to the later. The colours remain bright.

~ Dimensions ~

The frame is 81 cm 37.75 (inches) wide and 62 cm (24.5 inches) tall.

The exposed print is 63 cm 24.75 (inches) wide and 43 cm (17 inches) tall.
