*German, WW2, K98 Muzzle Guard*
Hinged muzzle cover for the K98 rifle. A muzzle guard would have been essential kit on the Eastern Front as they were used in muddy and snow covered areas to stop detritus getting into the muzzle so preventing a breach explosion. Push on and turn to install and has flip-up front cap for bore inspection. Hard to find accessory.
