*German, WW2 Era, Hollow Cast Bronze Bust of Adolf Hitler*

A striking small hollow cast bronze bust of Adolf Hitler, finely detailed and finished with a rich bronze patination. The bust itself measures 13 cm, rising to 16 cm overall including the 3 cm integral base. Hitler is depicted in a collared shirt with tie and cross-strap, the tie prominently bearing a swastika. The sculpted features are boldly stylised, with incised hair texture and sharp facial definition that capture the unmistakable image of the Führer. The underside is plain, displaying authentic file and casting marks typical of mid-20th century manufacture. Unsigned, as often found with smaller desk and shelf examples.

Historical Note:
Portrait busts of Hitler were produced in large numbers across the Third Reich, ranging from monumental bronzes by the official sculptors of the regime to smaller castings intended for display in offices, schools, and private homes. Affordable hollow cast examples such as this were popular in domestic and organisational settings, serving as a highly recognisable symbol of loyalty and authority.

*Condition*
In very good condition with an even aged bronze finish. Expected light wear and patination to the high points, particularly around the nose, collar, and hair. Minor casting flaws visible at the neck and hairline, consistent with period production. The base shows typical surface scratches and handling wear. A well-preserved and attractive example, free of cracks or repairs, with excellent display presence. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
