Octagonal, hollow backed, alloy metal badge in a bronze finish. On the face is a design depicting two shaking hands, in front of a memorial bearing the inscription 1934 DES DEUTSCHEN EHRE IST DIE TREUE/German Honour is Loyalty. At the top of the badge is an eagle with outstretched wings, clasping a circular wreath containing a swastika. There is a border inscription DEUTSCH IST DIE SAAR. A retaining pin is soldered to the reverse.
