This ashtray is crafted from the base of a 4.5-inch round shell. The shell has its original markings of “105mm FD LOT 13 RW297 RLB 1977” There are additional markings on the primer. This was made for the 105mm field cannon and is inset with a Falkland Islands 1983 5p coin.
