The British WW1 officer’s artillery hat was a version of the artillery hat worn by British officers in the artillery branch during World War I. It was made of finer materials than the standard enlisted man's version and often featured a higher quality finish, such as a leather sweatband and a better quality wool. The officers' hats were also often adorned with more elaborate decorations, such as gold braid or a badge with the officer's rank and regiment. The size of the cap is 52 (small).
