The bayonet comes with composite Bakelite grips, a beautifully crafted steel blade, hilt and scabbard. The metal grip is held together by 2 rivets, stud and groove at the base of the grip.

Scabbard of metal construction, painted black, with some dents. The bayonet comes with a fully functional spring catch release button for attachment to a rifle.

The manufacturer details are unknown.

This is the so called Old Model (a.A).

Dimensions

The blade has a length of 9 ½ inches (24 cm) and the sword in its scabbard has a total length of 17 ½ inches (45 cm).

It weighs 590 g.

Condition

The blade had its edge cut away at some point in time and it developed a nice patina.

The wooden grips have a number of chips.

The scabbard has developed surface rust.
