~ Early 20th Century Cased Royal Navy Bicorn, Sword Belt And Epaulettes Set ~
The bicorn has the standard Kings Crown buttons and gold bullion wire fittings. The silk interior of the bicorn is named for Gieves Ltd. of London and Edinburgh S. R. Gould & Sons R. N. Outfitters, Devonport.
The sword belt is also by Gieves and bears the Kings Crown over the fouled anchor.
The epaulettes have Kings Crown Royal Navy buttons, silver bullion wire fouled anchors and gold bullion wire fringes. They were retailed by George Spencer of 8, Ordanance Row, The Hard, Portsmouth.
The black japanned tin case is named to B.A. Beal, R.N. (Royal Navy) on a brass plaque and also T. A. C. Pakenham R.N. in white paint.
